Those pics look amazing. When were they taken?
I'm going on a boat to Santa Cruz or Anacapa next Sunday. I hope it looks as good as those pics.

Beauties as always, Chris.

I'm guessing that the first was taken with w/a, but was the second?

Also, I'm pretty sure that the second used strobe, but did the first?

Thanks Frank, Unless I am shooting in super macro mode, I always use a WA lens

The first shot was ambient light, although my strobes did fire, couldn't do any good from that distance

I dove casino point on the 7th & 8th of oct and the viz sucked! I would estimate about 10-15 feet! it was my first dive so I was kind of let down, especially beings I was told viz would be in the 40 foot range. Look slike you had a better day there then I did, nice pix. where about was that at casino, what depth/location?

How's the weather out there today? We're on the King Neptune tomorrow, and I'm just curious if Catalina is seeing as much rain as the mainland.

Crossing my fingers for good vis, at least... it's been such a rotten year, I was really looking forward to going now that it's been clearing up! But rain doesn't bode well for the vis either. :(
