It all depends on what you wan to take pictures of, and, UW, also what's the
vis?

I've got eight Nikon SLRs (F with FTN, EM (long story), F4, three N90s,
D70, RS). I've got lens from 13mm to 2000 mm.
Above-water, the D70 is my walking around camera, with an
80-400 IS Nikon, and the kit lens that came with it. UW, the RS with a
50mm (need to get another Rene Auman doubler) and the 13 (I mostly
dive Monterey, and you need to get REAL close).

But tell us what you want to do, and we'll argue about the right lens.

hi there all, is there much difference between the tokina 10-17 and nikons 10.5 fish eye?

We've got 18-200 VR for the surface shooting. very good walk around lens, though it's a bit pricey but it is worth it
