Agree with others - BHB is a great place to get started. I used BHB as a warm-up to a planned trip to Lembeh back in 2010. I had heard about the bridge for years, but had not done it. We spent 4 days in the area - mornings at BHB; afternoons diving off WPB. Definitely not enough... I've been going back at least once a year for multiple days since.

Check out the troll site for recent conditions: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/florida-diving/386645-blue-heron-bridge-trolls.html .

Also, here is an idea of what can be seen there: Blue Heron Bridge - WetLens

And, I agree, Lembeh is the pinnacle of macro diving: Indonesia 2010 - WetLens
I typically start a trip with my 60mm macro as it is the easiest configuration that I have. I'll change that based on conditions and how close I am able to get to critters and WA opportunities. In Lembeh, I never switched lenses... 4 days; 18 dives; 22.5 hrs UW. It was magical.
