What's the best way to give rescue breaths w/a back inflating BCD?

There are a couple of options. Deflate your bc some. If that is all it takes, fine. I first, take off my bc. I can fin higher in the water and I am more maneuverable. Then I remove the victim's gear. It helps if you are not towing alone. Partner can clip a line to your bc and then you don't lose your gear. If it is inflated, it can be scooped up later anyway. Plus, all this depends on how far you are towing the victim.
 
Oh! And congratulations on the course. I'll offer a word of advice. PRACTICE!!! Don't just leave it archived until you need it. Every now and then practice bringing up your buddy and towing while giving rescue breaths. Trust me, you will be glad you did, if you ever have to use it.

Thanks! We had a very serious real rescue on our rescue course (posted on SB under near misses). I DO see the value of practice & of good technique & form!!!
