I have an old 13 cu-ft pony that is out of hydro and all the paint has worn off it. Wanna buy that? It might be easier to get it hydroed than find one of those galvanized luxfer tanks.

If it was a 19cf - I might have to take you up on it.

Those worthington X4-19 are no where to be found so if anyone know someone selling one. Point them my way.

Chances are it will be a Luxfer 19. Dive Gear Express is out of them (non yellow) for the moment.

Just buy a yellow one, and a tub of paint stripper - as long as it's aluminium.

I've got both Luxfer and Catalina tanks, ultimately the paint will chip, salt water gets underneath and the paint starts to bubble and look cr@p. It's easier to just get the paint off before hand.

Buy a gel paint stripper, paint on a small section and let it sit as per instructions for 5-10 minutes. Take a piece of timber with a 90 degree good edge, and run it along the section of tank and it will lift the paint off leaving a perfect brushed coat look.

I mean, what's the yellow phobia anyway? Or is it a fashion statement or something?

Did you not realize that shark are attracted to the color yellow? See the yellow guy in my signature. Is he in trouble or what? :rofl3:
