My previous scuba life was on the New Jersey wrecks back in the early - mid 1980s and I completely agree with your remark. Those guys would dive with a machine shop to get a good bit of wreckage up.

Not that I would ever do it... I was too inexperienced at the time. I did start using a crowbar as part of my diving weight, though when I was there.
