I love my regulator, but I noticed that, if I am in a head-down position, the reg makes gurgle noises when I inhale. It seems to deliver air just fine, I was just wondering about the noise. I tend to be head down a fair amount when peering under ledges for lobsters, pictures, etc. Thanks for any info.

Hello Mike:
Most likely when you hear a "gurgling" noise on inhalation you have some water within the second stage case. That is, the second stage is not fully cleared of water. Since this condition is associated with a heads down position, I guess the most likely cause is an exhaust valve that is not sealing well. The cause could also be the inhalation diaphragm, case or mouthpiece, though less likely. It's a problem we would like to correct for you. I am away at DEMA this week. I will send you a PM with my cell phone number. Give me a call and I'll arrange the quick service of your regulator at no cost to you.

Now that's service! I will call you during the day on Monday. I will also understand completely if you want to wait until you are back from DEMA to deal with this. Have a great evening. Thanks for the quick reply.
