Nemrod:
Could somebody post one of those Google Pics with a line drawn in showing a typical east jetty dive route (actual dive route underwater) with points of interest indicated. Like I said, since so much has changed my landmarks are gone. I used to walk in here during the 70s while going to college nearby but since that time used only boats to get to the area and things look different standing on a deck vs standing on the sand.

A route map would be great. I've snorkled the area years ago and plan to try diving it for the first time this summer.

GLENFWB:
It usually runs about $250.00 a day but I have a guy I use on a regular basis and he cuts me a pretty good deal since I always come back to him. He has a large pontoon that is a little older so I don't worry about throwing heavy diving gear around on it...I will gladly get the boat and everyone just chip in for gas. Like SPG said, we could tool around and hit a number of sites during the day, maybe a few in the pass, under the Destin bridge, and the bay cones...I have been wanting to dive them.

Hey It's been a while, but I think http://www.sunshinepontoonrental.com/ was about half that. He was just getting started, so it may have gone up, but that was 4 hours and a tank of gas. Unless you were talking about an 8 hour trip. I don't know about that, but it would stand to reason it would be twice as much... Nevermind, I'm an idiot!
