I am unable to find the final report from either the medical examiner or someone who looked at the gear.
As someone who just moved to NC and wants to start diving ledges, I would like to know more about this case. The Coast Guard does say that the husband was the dive buddy and that she did have one tank, and blew through that in 20 minutes.
Someone said she had 3000 logged dives and ran an operation, someone said she had under 50... Someone even hinted at an affair and called for an investigation? (whut?) Her buddy had a deco obligation (diving with a different volume than she was?)?
There's just so much hearsay in the thread, would be great for a final official followup, was that ever done?
