The members of the Women Divers Hall of Fame are having a party at DEMA 2013 in Orlando, Florida!
The Tropical Dreams and Paradise Sunsets shindig is on Wednesday, November 6th from 7:30 to 10:30 pm. You KNOW its going to be an incredible night! weve got the right stuff! Fabulous food, drink and a steel pan player drumming up a Caribbean beat compliments of the Antigua Tourism New York Office. Jonathan Bird, host and producer of Jonathan Birds Blue World will be our host and emcee. Hes going to be auctioning off fabulous dive & resort packages worth thousands of dollars. There will also be amazing items of artwork, jewelry, memorabilia, diving gear and other treasures in our silent auction. (Check out the list ahead of time at: http://www.wdhof.org/events.shtml). Dress is casual Island garb for our party. This year were letting everyone in the door for a mere $20 per person because we want everyone to join us at our DEMA launch party. The event brings together diverse and key members of the diving industry in a merry, upbeat setting, and its a major fundraiser for WDHOF Scholarships and Training Grants.
With Jonathan Bird as host, the evening is going to be one of the most exciting and entertaining places to be during the Diving Equipment and Marketing Association (DEMA) expo in Orlando, Florida. Well see you on November 6th! Advanced ticket purchase can be made online via the WDHOF web site at

Jonathan Bird Emcee & Live Auctioneer
Jonathan Bird is a professional underwater cinematographer and photographer. His films have appeared all over the world, on networks such as National Geographic Channel, PBS, ABC, USA Network, Discovery and even the SciFi Channel. He has won nine Emmy Awards and two Cine Golden Eagles for his work. He is the author of seven books of underwater photography and the host of his own dive adventure science series on public television called Jonathan Birds Blue World.
