Hi all,
We wanted to share with you another video we just made. This one is a short compilation of clips from Divetech's Women's Dive Day event which was held on July 21, 2018.
Divetech's Julia Bradford and owner Joanna Mikutowicz, decided to celebrate in a big way by attempting a world record of 'Longest underwater human chain [women.]' 86 women arrived at Lighthouse Point and successfully set the record, which was just certified by Diving Almanac.
Of course, the real purpose of the world record was to raise money for the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation. 100% of the proceeds were donated, and Divetech is proud to announce that over $3,000 KYD were raised on this day alone. This is a very worthy cause, and in just the week following the event, the director of CIBCF sadly reported that 6 new women had approached them requesting assistance in battling various stages of cancer.
For those of you who love the Cayman Islands, consider learning more about them, and donating to their cause. www.breastcancerfoundation.ky
A very big thank you to the following companies for donating prizes to our raffle to help us raise even more money:
