I picked up a used tank from a diver moving out of the area that I am trying to find some information on. It is labeled as an XS Scuba MP85 and based on the imprinted codes, it was manufactured by Worthington. It is dimensionally almost exactly the same as a Worthington X7-100 (HP100) and put side-by-side, it is almost impossible to tell them apart, except the MP85 has a working pressure of 3000 psi and a test pressure of 5000 psi. It even has the same DOT Special Permit number (14157) that the X7-100 has.

I'm expecting that it will have similar buoyancy and trim characteristics as the X7-100, but I was curious if anyone has seen these cylinders before and how comparable they are.
