Is the bouy still on the Havana? We are planning on going in Sept. and after last years attempt at the Verano we would like to actually see a wreck.

Last time we checked it was there. Normally we lower it on Laborday weekend but if you plan to hit it in September, we can leave it up longer. There is a good chance we will hit it sometime this weekend so I will post an update if we do.

The white jugs are still floating on the surface. Visibility was down to 6-10 ft. with a lot of fine silt on the wreck this weekend.

If you would pull the jugs down to the suspended big float and zip tie then when you are done, we would greatly appreciate it. Keeping that big float on the wreck at 20' makes finding and setting the surface floats a lot easier in the spring. Enjoy!

We dove the Havana yesterday and the vis was great at least 20ft. The lake was calm as calm could be. Thanks for leaving those jugs up, our GPS was about 300ft off with the coordinates that were posted here. We zip tied the top jugs to the suspended jug as well.

Thanks for taking care of the jugs. We will float them again next year on Memorial Day weekend.
Did you see the deadeye in the sand or was it covered up again?
