:eek: WOW that is not long at all!!
Mines two months old with about 15 dives ,mostly in a pool ;-0 due to the bad weather.But i'm of to check mine right now!!!
As im going diving this weekend:)
Did the the rivit have any burs on it or was it due pressure from when inflated at the surface of do you think that something else was pushing against it ?

I wouldn't worry to much. I don't think this will happen to all of them. It is just a questionable design feature that can cause problems. It didn't wear threw it was more like something heavy pushed the grommet into the bladder. The tear is in the exact shape of the grommet.
 
Yeah agreed Lucid,
But this highlights a potenial faliure point in the future .

Odd.
I just ran out and checked mine and I have no grommet in it. I wonder when they changed... mine's about 5 years old.
