I'll update the first 2 posts as a running synopsis of this thread.

When: Saturday, April 14th
Where: Leo Carrillo

What is the Wrinkles Dive?

This is a monthly gathering of all divers and non-divers in SoCal who can make it. It's a lot of fun involving diving, eating, socializing and sometimes even camping!

It all started when our SoCal member, Wrinkles, mentioned to a group that she dove with that it would be really fun to be able to get together at least once a month. Pasley, took off with the idea and announced the first "Wrinkles Dive". The rest is history!

It's open to everyone of all skill levels from "I'm not certified yet" to "Do we really have to dive the Andrea Doria again?"

We've found this to be a great way to meet our fellow divers locally and many new dive buddies have been found though these "dive soirees".

Never been... so I guess now is a good time to start...

A tenative "I'll be there" (without bells on of course) as always from me.. :14:

So...asuming I get certified in two weeks, I will be a brand newbie in a only a wetsuit. Any problems with either one of those things, I would love to come and meet everyone and gain some experience. I just don't want to be laughed at and called a dork

The only ones who will get laughed at are the ones who stay home and don't make the trip out (damn, now I have to show up lol)... So come on out and have a good time with all of us..

I'll do a dive with ya... :14:

A daytime dive at Vets? Interesting concept.

Hrm. I suppose I am due for a skills dive or two. :D

Definitely maybe.

Hi Guys,
I'll be on the Peace that weekend so I won't be able to make this one. I'll miss you guys but I'll grt over it. :eyebrow:

John

I'll most likely be there, the camraderie sounds fun but I must admit that a full day of diving Vet's doesn't excite me that much. Anyone up for a quickie car ride downcoast (Malaga or OML) for at least one of the dives?
