There have also been a boatload of SP350's on ebay lately, some refurbs direct from Oly w/ warranty and all. The oly pt-030 is still readily available as well.

I bought my SP-350 from Oly's eBay store last year and haven't had a lick of trouble with it. It's a refurb and as good as new. I'd trust the Oly store to buy one again. You can also buy an extended warranty there if you're concerned about the quality.
