a beautiful sunny sunday capped off a third day of great diving!
the Easter bunny granted a double dive on the YO-257..
hence the yo-yo
first dive.. kicked into the stern section..
and, decided to penentrate deep into the engine room..
all the way back.. to the wall-sized electrical panel..
(amazed how the switch labels still look brand-new after being submerged over ten years)
then, circled 'round to the fire-hose spool..
now, honestly.. the most welcome site on the dives was looking up at the exit.. whew!
back outside the wreck.. joined up with some snapper buddies..
who stayed in tight-formation the balance of the dive..
after an almost hour dive in 73°F freezing water.. emerged shivering :shocked2:
thankfully.. had left a bottled-drink in direct sun-light during the dive..
which basically simmered into a nice hot bottle of sun-tea..
perfect for warming body-core-temp back to near normal..
ahhh.. nice
second dive..
spied a large school of trevally circling the top deck of the yo..
after finning over to the san pedro..
met a calm honu lounging on the bow..
then, joined a couple white-tips inside the forward hold..
finally, hearing their high-pitched buzzing during both dives..
had one of the atlantis subs do a close fly-by..
mahalo for viewing..
