Taiwanese Diver Dies
Kota Kinabalu:
A Taiwanese in his 50s died after experiencing difficulty during a dive at one of the dive resorts off Semporna, Friday.

It was learnt that he had gone for a leisure dive when the tragedy struck around noon.

According to a source, the man vomited blood during a three-minute safety stop underwater, a required safety procedure for divers before resurfacing.

It was believed he had not been diving for quite some time and could have died due to lung over-expansion.

His body was taken to the hospital, but police could not be reached for further confirmation.
