Hello All,
thinking of going to Lake Tangayika, but can't find any active dive operators there. Does anyone know of any active ones?

I found an (old) article on divernet.com mentioning Hippos / Crocodiles, that would be very high on my list... Anyone knows if this is true?

Thanks,

Lake Tanganyika is in a relatively remote part of Tanzania. English is spoken even less there than in the rest of the country, and transport is not easy to secure. There are no dive operators there either AFAIK. I'm not sure about crocodiles but there *are* hippos in the lake - and they can be extremely dangerous.

Thanks TikTok,
When I dived lake Malawi in April I heard "rumors" of Tangayika being even better so I would still be very interested in going there.I have found two dive operators on the "net" but neither one seams to answer emails...
