I just returned from Anguilla which is a great cavation destination. I had heard about Dougie Carty's Special D and arranged 3 days of diving with him. The guy is a class act and does know the island. One thing that suprised me in a positive sense. We had prearranged the dates I would be diving with him and despite the fact that one one day, I was his only diver, we went! other DO's I've used have their minimum and don't go unless they reach the minimum.
Anguilla diving is easy and lazy, at least the sites we visited. Doug stayed away from big current sites. For critters, we had a large number of lobsters, several types of morays, lots of typical reef fish including some beautiful angel fish and several rays. We did several wrecks which have been sunk over the last 10 years or so. No walls, no deeps but fun never-the-less.
The only problem with Doug is no matter how good you think you are on air consumption, he's better.
