please help.

I have just got myself a new regulator. I have my older setup (about 12 years old) which I still want to use, but the new regulator connector that connects to the first stage (the thinging that connect to the top of the tank) is too small. The older regs had bigger connectors/thread. Is there a converter "screw" type thing that would make the hole on the first stage smaller to fit the new size of the new regs?

Yes there is. You're LDS should have some in stock. If not, list the brand and sizes, someone might be able to help you out with it. I have a few older regs that I use adaptors for.
