Hi everyone,
Just now getting to purchase my diving equipment. I am thinking about purchasing a ScubaPro Glide BC or the AquaLung Pro QD
Regs: The Abyss or a regulator with a side vent for air bubbles
Computers: The Suunto Cobra or Vyper

Any advice/comments on these or other products welcome.
TIA,
R. Foles

All good gear ... if that's the limit of my choice I'd go for the ScubaPro Glide BC, the Abyss regulator and the Suunto Vyper.

what Thas said, but i would add that if i could, i'd probably switch out of the Mares Abyss and get into an Apeks, Scubapro, Atomic, or Zeagle regulator (Poseidon is very good too, but sometimes hard to find service for them)

those are very fine regs

for example, the Zeagle DS V is environmentally sealed, and i believe a better reg than the Abyss, but $50 less:
