I am traveling to the Red Sea in early October (Marsa Alam). The dive operator says that I need to bring a "recent medical statement". I've sent them an e-mail asking if they have a specific form or require specific language in the statement, but haven't heard back from them yet.

For you folks that have been to the Red Sea lately, any tips about this?

Thanks.

Chris

Haven't experienced it. I was last in Marsa Alam in April and wasn't asked for one. This could be something that your specific dive operator requires.

hi chris

german oriented outfits tend to ask for this statement. it can be just a sentence stating that you are fit for diving from your physician. the document may not be older than two years.

language does not matter. or do a google for "gtüm"
