Wow!

You are so lucky - I've never seen a Hawksbill before.

Nice photo - great shot!

Very nice shot!

Paul,

Sweet shots! I love the spotted moray...too bad his head was in the reef!

What kind of camera did you use to take these shots?

Also, what's the cross on the seafloor all about?

Matt

Hmmm, a Turtle Thursday...

Well, I'm a day late, but hopefully ya'll wont mind if I participate anyway...

And a little closer...

Both these pics were taken in Grand Cayman a couple of years ago using just a plain ole' sealife reefmaster camera.

That is an amazing photo. I am quite envious. Turtles are by far my favorite.

Last week was my first chance to swim with a turtle. Saw two while diving on St. Maarten and another while diving off Barbados. The folks in St. Thomas saw four the day before I was there, and NONE during our two dives Friday morning a week ago. It was the highlight of my dives there to see turtles in the wild. Also had a school of Baracuda swim through our little foursome while on Barbados as well. About a dozen fish, all minding their own business.

I guess I'll need to get a camera to record some of these things!
