Clearwater Beach FLorida

I will be taking a trip to Clearwater Beach Florida in April. I'll be traveling with non-divers but just cannot be next to the ocean without getting at least a couple dives in. I have never been to or dove in Florida. How is the diving near Clearwater? Is there diving near Clearwater? How's the temp and visiblity there? Can anyone suggest a dive operator that can do Hotel pickups, as I'm sure my non-diving friends will want the car during the day. Looking forward to beach time but I prefer to be under the water!!

I have used Tank Alot they are a fun charter, also be sure to post your dive and you may get scubaboard people show up. Tampa has a very active group of divers ......
