Conditions good for a Bird visit?

My wife and I would like to go see some manatees if possible next week. Whaddya think our chances are for good conditions around Birds?

I called Birds Underwater today and scheduled our snorkel time for next week. It sounds like there is less manatee activity than usual but, frankly, we'll be in Florida snorkeling about... so...

Well, our Birds Underwater visit was great and it was really cool to just float there and have manatees come up to nuzzle you or grab your hand with their front flippers.

We were on the first boat out on the water which was just awesome.

It was kind of disturbing to watch the way that people from the other charters were acting... Especially the charters that allowed people in the water without flippers. Lots of flailing around so much that the manatees would just leave them.
