I have heard conflicting opinions regarding the rainy season in Raj Ampat. That it differs from Bali's wet season of November through March, because it is far from Bali and has a different season. But I read posts of SBers trips and it sounds pretty wet in RA during those winter months. What is the reality of it?

Hi Kneptoon

Raja Ampta experiences a light rainy season from May to September. From the middle of July to the middle of September you may experience small surface swell. These factors usually don't seriously interfere with your enjoyment of the region.

Hope that helps.
