DIR Fundamentals Class -- Cincinnati, Ohio
There will be a GUE DIR Fundamentals class in the Cincinnati, Ohio area on May 9, 10, and 11 (Friday evening, and all day Saturday and Sunday) with GUE instructor Dan MacKay. Dan is based in Kingston, Ontario with Northern Tech Diver, and is also a GUE Tech instructor, an avid cave and wreck diver and a great guy to work with. The DIR Fundamentals course is for everyone -- from divers just starting out to veteran divers -- anyone who wants to get more out of their diving. This is an excellent class for anyone who is interested in advancing into cave or tech diving, but is also just as useful for recreational diving. The cost of the class will be $325. This does not include the book
"Doing It Right: The Fundamentals of Better Diving" (available directly from GUE <http://www.gue.com/classroom/manuals.shtml>), air fills, quarry admissions. equipment rentals, etc. (The cost of the class only goes to cover the instructor's fees and travel expenses.)
If you would like to be in the class, a deposit of $150 is required now, which is refundable until two weeks before the class. Class space is limited.
