bring everything you need. This means gear (or rental gear), tanks, drinks/food.

They have no facilities their as they just got the contract/lease to open and there wasn't enough time to open and the lease isn't long enough to do any major items to the quarry/facility.

They have fixed the docks and cleaned up the place though. It looks pretty nice.

Britt does have a compressor onsite and **might** have a few tanks for rent if they haven't already been rented or reserved by his shop customers.

You'll also need directions. Britt's got them posted up on Better Diver Madison Quarry

There is also a stickey at the top of the forum that has info on Madison.

Might I reccomend a sun tent also. the sun in the quarry can be intense if the weather is hot as it reflects off the walls and sun-burns easily.

If you need rental tanks and rental gear, the closest place to get them on your way up is Dive Sports in Decatur. If you're coming up Sunday, give him a call and see what you can arrange.

hope this helps.... -Mike

Oh... water temps there about 3 weeks ago was I think 82f or 84f on the bottom. I dove it in my 2/3mm shortie and was fine. Vis was 10 to 30 feet depending on depth.
