I know this guy that has an AWSOME deal on an Ikelite underwater digital housing for a Nikon Coolpix 950 with a removable external UR-Pro filter, Ikelite Substrobe 50, Ikelite TTL sync cord, and a substrobe 50 strobe arm II. He wants less for it than a new housing would cost me!!!! There are only two major problems. I have the nikon 995, and he lives in hawaii so I can;t test it out. I was wondering if anyone out there knows if this housing will work on the 995? The research I have done says that they prolly aren't compatable. There are only 2 differences that I have found, maybe 3. I am just a begining photographer, so I may be wrong about this. One difference is that it doesn't have a button for the "quick" function. The 995 has a "quick" button that allows the last photo taken to be previewed. This is not a necessity. another difference is that the 950 seems to have the turning dial on the front of the camera. The 995 has it behind (closer to the LCD) the picture taking button. I have never used this dial. Like I said I am new to the photography world, as if you couldn't tell from my terminology . The maybe is that the 995 has a pop up flash. you can see the differences between the two cameras by going here
