My family will be in Wellington for a week bracketing Christmas. My daughter is 14 and has her JOW plus about 16 dives. May be a couple more by then. We'd like to do some diving that week, but of course, we need to spend quality time with the grandparents as well. Can you guys recommend some boats/guides/locations that would work for a JOW diver? I'm not against driving a fair bit north or south if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Narcosis out of Riveria Beach usually does the shallow reefs around 40' (Breakers, Balls) or so and always puts a DM in the water.

Underwater Explorers in Boynton Beach is an excellent Operation, I have taken my 14 year old JR AOW there serveral times. Kevin and his crew will make sure you see some of the most beautiful reefs I have seen. Underwater Explorers - SCUBA Diving Boynton Beach, Delray, Palm Beach, Reefs and Wrecks

For some reasonably decent shallow sites, venture down to Fort Lauderdale / Pompano, and dive the Copenhagen and/or reefs like the nursery which are 30-35 feet max depth.

No one said Blue Heron Bridge yet?

I'd also give a thumbs' up for Kevin at UnderWater Explorers. Only a six-pack and he always dives with you at no extra DM cost.
