Anybody have any knowledge of Underwater Kintetics makeing a DPV or marketing one, probably for Farallon.

I bought one off of E-bay and it's a mystery. I'll get it in the mail next week, so I can't answer lots of questions right now, but here is what I do know.

The only picture I have of it is lousy, but it looks alot like a Farrallon Mk 2.

The seller says it has several marking on it that say UK, but I called UK to see if they still have parts, manuals etc. and they say they never have made or sold a DPV.

Internet searches come up with zip.

Seller says they got it second hand about eight years ago, but have no idea of the age.

It takes two motorcyle batteries like the MK 2 running 24 volts, so I'm dam sure it is some version of a MK2.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I got it because It looks like a the Farallon and I wanted one so bad when I started diving back in the 80's, but it was way out of my pay grade. I know it's not a X or SS, I like to tinker and it's should be fun bringing it back to life.

Thanks everyone

looks like a Farrallon to me. some one panter / powder coated it blue

thanks for the response I should get it in the mail any day now, I'll post up pics and what I find when I get it. Curious as hell, but I'm in your camp too.

Got it in the mail today and a Farallon MkII it is. It's been repainted so all original markings are gone, and other than a couple of catalysts marked with Underwater Kinetics on them, there are no other UK markings.
