[Video] The Metridium Field

Hi,
One more shore dive at Breakwater, Monterey, California.
February 25th, just before the night.
The good visibility allowed me to find a lot of Metridium fields.

Max depth was 65ft/20m. a long solo dive of 1h45min.
I hope you will like the video and the music (by Yann Tiersen, he did the "Amelie" soudtrack).

Great videos! I just dove the breakwater for the first time a few weeks ago and I'm living in Davis as well. I'm hoping I can get dive Pt. Lobos next week.

Thanks for posting this. I really enjoy your videos. About the jellies, does the video make them look more concentrated? is it easy to find clear paths to swim through? Planning on visiting the Metridium Fields next Sunday if conditions allow.

yes, don't worry, no risk, very easy to swim without touching any jellyfish...
They go very slowly, and usually they don't do any U-turn (not like some crazy people on the road) and don't change of direction just to try to injure you !
