Wow, amazing footage. Water appears to be completely motionless. Why did you guys use drysuits? I would think that even at an hour, with 77 degree water, it would have been quite comfortable in a thin wetsuit.

I found the 30 to 45 minutes dives I did in the cavern zone to be quite comfortable in a wetsuit. The hour-long dives in my Cave 1 class, plus the OW debriefs, left me shivering. A dry suit makes long cave dives (which are in the dark, so no sunlight to warm anything) very pleasant.

You must have been boiling hot in those drysuits! Looks like a fun dive, thanks for sharing the video, glad you even saw some fish in the cenote! I was happy with just a full 3 mil for exposure protection.

I'm quite comfortable diving here in my dry suit with 300 polartec fleece UG's, 5mm hood and no gloves. Often we are doing 3-4 short dives a day.

And yes the water is delightfully clear still and clear :).

Not even slightly warm, it's perfect :).

I have been boiling hot in my dry suit in Mexico . . . but only until I hit the water. Two hours later, I'm very glad of it :)

Where were you diving at in MX. I just came from down there (spent four months in Playa del Carmen) I have a great many cave Instructor buddies and Cave guide buddies down there. I did some cavern dives down there in Eden and a couple other spots.
Glad you had fun!
