Hi, I just bought an ikelite casing for my canon 50D, all bottoms are functioning well however I’m having a problem with the mode dial, when I try to rotate it using the camera casing it keeps slipping and won’t rotate in any direction, so I can’t switch between manual mode, AV or TV while the camera is inside the casing, I thought maybe the dial is a bit stuck and little hard to rotate so I sent it to canon service but they told me it’s normal and nothing was wrong with the the dial.

Please I need an advise if anyone has experienced this before and what should I do about it

Thanks

I just had my 40D case reworked for the 50D and I have had the same issue but not as bad. It took some twisting but worked. I would be interested in the cure.
