I think I am mildly disappointed that it is not cocaine. I never touch the stuff, but could use the money.

Anyway, what is that stuff? Should it be replaced in older units? Should the catalyst be replaced? (If I were selling those little pellets, I would recommend new ones on every dive, but let't be real here. Is there a way to test them? Anyway, what are they made of?

I am looking for chemical content here. I know they are the system that eats the H2 produced from charging to keep the thing from blowing up. While blowing a unit up sounds like fun, I would rather not because I want to play with this thing.

Moreover can anybody recommend a source?

Thanks.

The old style descant / catalyst are to neutralize thehydrogen produced by the batteries should be replaced with new batteries. (I havethe new style ones in stock.)

New batteries or the new style catalyst - the short little grey cylinders?
