Has anyone recently dove Innerkip? Last time I dove it (several years ago) there was some "farm runoff" and the vis was poooooor! I have heard lately that it has improved again.

How are the conditions of the water... quality as well as Vis?

We dove trout lake on the 18th July ... water was "get your hood off" warm. No other divers were there aprox 17:00 so the vis was pretty good (could see the setting sum from 25')...better than in the past. We just wanted to get wet on such a hot evening so the 25' max was perfect and we spent 70 minutes under puttering around the bus, cars and the boat. The cliffs were kinda busy with kids cooling off so we didn't make our way down that end. We noticed a RIDE just outside the park entrance to keep the kids from enjoying too many wobbly pops.

a dive buddy was there not too long ago and said it was great and definitely wasnt like a "farm runoff" unlike past years..

Was there about a month ago check it out Trout Lake Park, Innerkip, Ontario, Canada, Scuba Dive July 2012 - YouTube

Vis was decent 10-15 feet. Lots of fish, very curious. Also saw either a pike or a muskee, hard to tell them apart.

Had no clue where we were going so swam in circles and found one car. Dive shop was closed, locals unable to point anything out.

Very busy, lots of drinks and joints going for sure.

Really could use some sort of dive map because its big enough that we swam across it covering very big angles and were unable to find anything but the car, there is supposed to be a bunch of stuff. Was very dirty, lots of cans/garbage.

The lack of runoff is likely due to the drought we've been having.

The water level has dropped by 3 - 4 feet (up until yesterday's deluge). Viz was very fuzzy but water was warm, indeed.
