For my buddies birthday we took the Catalina Express to enjoy the great conditions we had been hearing about over at the Dive Park. We were not let down, vis was 60-70 ft, just incredible! This dive we cruised the west end of the Park.

We had heard reports of GSB sightings out by the boats so we headed out to the far buoy from the stairs and made our decent. No GSB, but the vis was great, cruised the boats and made our way up to the Cousteau Memorial.

Neither of us had ever been to the Sue-Jac before, so on a tip, we took a 90 deg heading from the stairs. About half way to the far east buoy we descended to about 65 ft and followed the bottom of the reef around to the east. Soon we could see what looked like a huge wall with a big hole in it. Later we learned, that this was the port side. Each of us did the swim through and cruised back up into the reef to make the most of our last dive.
