Just got certified last month. I live in Minnesota. Very much looking forward to one day diving the wrecks out of Duluth in Lake Superior...but until then the hubs and I are planning to do some dives on the Whitefish Chain in Crosslake (in summertime, of course). He wants to find out where the fish are hiding and I just plain want to get underwater!

So...just saying hi to my regional comrades! :D

I was just in Duluth last weekend. Dove the Madeira and the Ely.

The Madiera was a couple of great dives (dove the bow and stern sections). Had about 60' of visibility.

Only did one dive on the Ely, it has been pretty much destroyed through additions to the break wall. Wasn't really worth doing a second dive.

Welcome! I've not been up your way to dive yet, but Superior is high on my list. It's the only Great Lake I haven't dived and I hear it's phenomenal. One of these days.
