Thanks for the website. I wish that it would've gone a bit deeper with specifics known as to why the individual reefs were in danger. In particular I was interested in the Western Carribean i.e. too much human contact, pollution, etc. Do you know if U.N. coral specialist Mark Spalding can be contacted for further queries?

Also seems that if we're to explore the Red Sea we ought to do so soon, eh? :)

No, I have no clue how to contact Mark Spalding. Is he any relation to Capt. Spalding, the African Explorer? Did someone call me shnorer? Hurray, hurray, hurray!!

I'll check out the corals in St. Croix this weekend and give you a report.
