Sorry about the backscatter...still playing with strobe placement a little bit! This is a coral trout...they are never the most approachable of subjects, but they are mating at the moment and very unhappy when divers get close. This shot is cropped to exclude some of the parts of other fishes that were in the frame!

Yes, what backscatter? The photo looks great to me! Looks like you got pretty close to the fish, even with the crop. Are the fish pretty friendly in Ningaloo?
