Is there a particular battery or way to replace the battery?

My husbands dive watch battery is dying (After 3 years.) and he has hinted to me about it by taking it off or the first time and placing it on my dresser, soooo

What do i do or take it to so i don't break it?

go to their website and they will have a list of local retailers in your area who are certified to replace the battery...

my best guess for you...

Make sure that the o-ring is replace too. I've seen several Luminox ruined when the O-ring was reused. If the jewler doesn't have the o-ring don't let him replace the battery. :christmas

Forgive my lack of knowledge on this but what is the O-ring? is that a sealer between the casing and the battery?

Coastie Wife, I've used these folks. They were fast and excellent service.

I have heard from a colleague they charge US$30 to clean, replace all o-rings and the battery.

I was refered to them by the Luminox Dealer. Here's their reply to my repair inquiry; I recieved this reply the same day as I sent it.

Hello,

It would be difficult to know for sure that we can repair or order parts for
it until we check it out but there seems little reason to believe that we
cannot. It is necessary for you to send your product so that we can check to
see if parts are available and what the cost would be.

Please send it to us for evaluation.

Fully insure it and please include a letter stating what you need done to
your product, name, address, and any contact information. If product is
under the warranty period, please provide a copy of proof of purchase. We
ask that you include the return shipping & handling fee of $10.00 with your
repair.

>We will notify you via email, fax and/or mail of the total cost necessary for
repair of your product. At this time, it is your decision as to whether you
wish to:

a. have the repairs performed (by remitting payment)
b. Have the watch returned to you without repair (for the 10.00 return s/h)
c. Decline to have the watch repaired or returned to you (no fee)

We accept Visa, MasterCard only (we cannot process debit card transactions).
You may provide this payment information via:

Fax 309-692-8375
Phone 800-359-2508
Email repairs@parsecent.com (unsecured)

Or you may mail payment (in the form of Cashier's check or Money order) to:

Luminox Service Center
