This thread is pictoral scrapbook about where we live and dive locally.
Post topside pics of your backyard. It can be anything topside related to diving. Towns on the way, the beach, the scenery, your picnic, you, your friends, your dog, whatever.

No vacation bragging pics.
This is about your backyard, the ocean, lake, stream, quarry, mudhole, cavern, etc.

I'll start:
Below are two pics of Mendocino Bay, followed by a few pics of the Sonoma coastline, and Russian Gulch bridge which is one of my all time favorite dive sites.
I'll post more when I find them.
Let's keep it going, I want to see!

Here is one from Ocean Cove in Sonoma County, California. This is the coastine north of San Francisco about 75 miles. You can see my old dory anchored in the cove.
This was 2004 in August during one of my infamous North Coast parties.

What is this term, "dive locally"?

Clearwater beach is my closest site. Boat diving only, unfortunately.

What is this term, "dive locally"?
Where ever you dive around where you live.
If you have to go a ways or even a few states away that's OK, Just no Bonaire, Caymans, Cozumel or that type stuff, unless you live there and that just happens to be your backyard.
This thread is about bringing attention to the lowly and overlooked local (to us) dive spots.

Naples is one of my favorite historical dives sites; the underwater Roman ruins are truly awe inspiring.

Right now I live in Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands and dive with great folks like R-balljunkie (see above).

But I am originally from Colorado; which will always be my home. Below are pictures of 2013's Underwater Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest at Aurora Reservoir outside of Denver. This is an annual event for the Shark Bait Dive Club in metro Denver.
