New in box, black hog zenith 2nd stage reg. currently going for $200 online. Never used this reg. got it to use as a stage/O2 reg and then decided I wanted a 2nd that is different from my primary regs. Ideally, I'd like to trade for anApeks ATX50 or XTX50 (second stage reg), but a 40 would be fine, used but not used up.

keep in mind before you do that, that you can't get Apeks parts kits and it complicates your service procedures. The better solution for differentiation would be to put a different mouthpiece on it, and/or request a different color faceplate

can't get official ones.... Either way, I would keep what you have and make another obvious change to it. Go to a comfobite or seacure style mouthpiece and that will be quite a bit of a change.

That said, I do have an AT20 that I'll sell you, it's well used, but perfect for O2. I'd keep stages/backgas the same though. I don't like mixing decompression and stage regs, and prefer my stages to be identical to backgas

I buy my apeks kits from a local aqualung dealer. Dont say you cant get them.

and I guarantee you have a relationship with the shop owner and you should also be aware that he is risking his status as an aqualung dealer by selling you those parts kits if you are not an authorized technician....

Read the agreement, it never says they can't. It does state their preference that you don't. But yes, I do have a working relationship with said shop.
