I have seen splendid toadfish on almost every trip to Cozumel. Here's a photo taken by my husband.

Love these little guys, I was lucky enough to finally see one out swimming back in September.
 
Can I just say THANK YOU!?? I'm not a photographer or a videographer, but I love enjoying the fruits of the labors of those who are.
I also THANK YOU, Robint, for starting a post that does not contain the name of a dive op or the word "sleaze", or a question about safety. Refreshing.

Oh -- and I have heard them on a night dive.

So what reefs has everyone seen them on? I think our DM found them on Paradise or Chankanaab, not sure if that is because those are shallow or because they are just easier to find there. I found one on my own once... pretty sure it was Paradise.
