Even at it's busiest Cozumel is laid back.

This week is "Semana Santa" (the week preceding Easter Sunday) and the island is VERY busy! It's also busy the following week - this is also the time of year we have MANY Mexican nationals from other parts of Mexico here on vacation because this is their "Spring Break" - all around the country.
In fact, banks, government offices and many businesses (non tourist related) will be closed tomorrow and Friday - everything will re-open Monday on normal schedule.
