My save a dive kit is a Rubbermaid plastic tub!
If I'm boat diving I have a small tool box that I just carry the basics.
I think the wax is for dry suit zippers as that is what I use it for!!
I keep all the usuall stuff in mine and enough to rebuild every regulator on the boat!! I'm a service tech for most brands so i'm usually the go to guy on dive trips!!
