    Save a dive kit

What little knicknacks do you all take with you to make sure you have emergency fix it equipment?

Make sure the number of descents and ascents are equal.

It will completely ruin your day if the number of descents exceeds the number of ascents by one

    Save-a-dive kit

This is my kit straight off my pre-dive trip checklist. This is just the stuff that goes in my little Save-a-Dive drybox. Some of the items may not be readily understandable, as it's "my" checklist - so if anything's not quite clear just ask

    Save-a-dive Kit:
    ___ Fin/Mask/Knife straps
    ___ Bee's Wax
    ___ “O” rings
    ___ Bulbs/batteries
    ___ Dust cap/port plugs
    ___ Mouthpiece/cable ties
    ___ Silicone grease/spray
    ___ Wetsuit cement/patches
    ___ BC cement/patches
    ___ BC & Weightbelt buckles
    ___ Pliers/Crescent wrench
    ___ Diver’s tool
    ___ Fid/Pocket knife
    ___ Inner tubes
    ___ Line
    ___ $100 bill

    I've got a bag full

    So far, I have used:

    Fin strap with buckles (twice)
    Spare reg (1st & 2nd)
    SPG
    tank O-rings
    Scuba tool
    spare mask

In all cases, so far, they were used to save someone elses dive, including the DM.

    Something I just added...

A pair of those 2032 disk batteries in case the computer craps out.

Isn't for the candles in case your dive light dies.

    Sorry....I know it was bad.

Don't use logic with me. It just confuses me and angers you.

Come Dive with The Kentucky Piranha Patrol....If you call them Blue Gill you haven't been diving in Kentucky!!!
