Looking for Retail Space in Fort Lauderdale... Please help!!

Hello,

I'm looking for a hotel that is on or very near the beach in Fort Lauderdale. I'm wanting to possibly have a store space within the hotel or a small shack on the property. I'm looking for a similar setup as Sea Monkey's in Florida who are within a Hampton Inn in Islamorada, Florida. Can anyone suggest a hotel? Preferrably a privately owned hotel (not a chain). Somewhere I can actually talk to someone that is in charge. Any help would be appreciated. Surely with all the people on scubaboard, someone knows somebody who owns a hotel? Figured I'd try here first!

No specific suggestion just some encouragement as there is much available right now. I am looking for additional sites for a different sort of retail and there is a big difference in price per sq. foot etc. Some are open to negotiation and some are so not open to working on the price. We are passing on any inflexible properties as there is so much available right now. Good luck! You will find the perfect spot!
