Hey, So Fl,

I need activities and sightseeing suggestions for a few families with small children (ages 5 - 11) traveling to Key West and Key Largo in two weeks.

They will be based in Marathon during their week in the Keys and are not divers.

Thank you.

Babysitter /Nanny for the wee ones and Scuba Classes for the adults!

I've convinced two of the adults to try a Discover Scuba Dive while in the Keys, the other four will be sightseeing. I even tried to talk the non-divers into snorkeling but no go.

Thanks for the recommendations, Sportxlh. I will pass it along to them.

One of them, an avid gambler, wants to know if there are any private poker games a few of them can crash. PM if you know of any.

Thanks, and keep the suggestions coming if you think of anything else.

I always take the family Deep sea Fishing!

There is a glass bottom boat out of Key Largo so you can visit the reefs with out getting wet.

There are booze cruises and family cruises as well.

The Everglades is cool (well it actually hot!) you can do air boat rides and swamp buggies. You WILL see Aligiles and Crocagators. There are all sorts of things to do in the swamp.

Billies Swamp Safari has a zoo and all sorts of cool stuff but not that close the the Keys.

You can rent canoes of even motor boats.

There are a couple nice beaches like Bahai Honda.

Bahia Honda State Park, Florida Keys Beach, Beaches in the Keys, State Park in the Keys, Florida Keys State Park, Public Beach Florida Parks

The feed the tarpons out of Marathon, and the kids would love that. Can not remember which restaurant but easy to find.

Key West is more of an adult playground but there are tourist stuff like the Hemingway house.

The hotels always have pamphlets with discount coupons.

The kids will love all this except the booze!

Thank you, Ron. Will pass it along with the other great recommendations.
