I just don't log dives
I want to put together a save a dive kit for an upcoming trip. I think the commercially available ones are not appropriate as I already have most of what's in them (fin strap, mask strap, etc.).

I do need o-rings. Should I get regular, or O2 compatible? I dive air, but will be going to nitrox in the spring.

Thanks.

they sell a o ring save a dive kit,not sure where I bought mine, try ebay. It had all the common sizes in it.

Get yourself some #10, 11, 12, and 14 O-rings. Don't worry about viton unless you're diving O2 at greater than 40%. If you're diving with a DIN regulator, get yourself a couple of #112 or 111 (depending on brand of regulator) o-rings for the DIN fitting. the 10, 11, and 12 are for your hoses and the 14 is for the tank valve (yoke regs). You'll probably need a sharp o-ring pick to dig the bad ring out of the tank valve.

Thanks for the replies. I was interested in sizes and whether or not I needed the viton, so these answers were great. Thanks again.
